Syntax Olevia serial connection

I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to adapt a standard
serial connection from a PC to one of the Syntax Olevia LVD
televisions. Specifically the LT30HV or LT27HV model.

The serial connection on it is a round standard-looking 9-pin port.
I'm assuming it's possible, but I definitely don't have the knowledge
to figure it out.

If anyone has any information or maybe just some general information
on how I might be able to figure it out, I would greatly appreciate
it.

If under the picture settings you don't have red blue and green gain
adjustment, call Syntax for a firmware update. They send you software, cable
you need and a new remote with the update package. Besides getting it that
way from Syntax I have to say I've not seen the cable.
