The problem is just that the term "4G" is used too loosely. Pretty much anything faster than 3G is called "4G" by the carrier even if it doesn't reach the speeds standard for 4G.

At any rate, my sister will be glad to hear about this, since she hasn't gotten a new sidekick since the Sidekick LX.
