Tablet thingy

This seemed like a decent place to post this, so I was wondering if anyone had heard of a product like this. Basically a tablet screen that could wirelessly connect to your PC, not like remote desktop, but basically like a touch screen monitor that was mobile and smaller. I like the touch screen friendly interface coming out in windows 8 and also love my iPad, and I only use it around the house. But I basically use it for all my computing now, so how great would it be to build a fast windows 8 rig and use something with the dimensions and touch screen ness of the iPad to interact with it? It wouldn't even need like a processor or anything inside it really, just basically be a mobile monitor. Does anyone make anything like that?
