Tablet wifi authentication problem?

My mom just gave me her old Lenovo tablet because it "kept freezing" so I took it. I reset it and began setting it up again, but when I tried connecting to her internet, it gave me an authentication problem. So I thought it might just be her router, but when I went home it did the exact same thing with mine.
I've tried resetting my router.
She told me it worked fine for her before she gave it to me, and she had no problems connecting to the internet.

Anyone able to help?

What model?

You're 100% certain the passphrase is correct, and that you don't have caps lock on?

Wifi authentication problem tablet.
go to wireless in settings bring up the part where it says internet security key. on the back of your internet provider box you will find the internet security key, type this number into the space provided on your tablet and press connect thats what works for me
