Take Screenshot of Android Wear Device

If you own an Android smartwatch, you can take screen captures to share what you have been looking at.

Here is how:

■Turn on your Android smartphone and pair it with the LG G Watch smartwatch (used for this demonstration) via Bluetooth.
■Assuming that you have already installed the Android Wear app on your smartphone, make sure that the app is upgraded to the latest version which is 1.0.5.1630507.
Note: If the app is not upgraded, go to Play Store and do so.
■On your smartphone, go to the Settings > Developer options window from the Menu screen.
■On the Developer options window, swipe to enable the Developer options toggle button from the top-right corner.

■Once enabled, on the smartwatch, go to the desired screen whose screenshot you want to capture. Make sure that you keep the display on.
■Back on your Android smartphone, tap the Android Wear app from the Menu screen.
■Once opened, tap the More icon (icon with the three vertical dots) from the top-right corner.
■From the expanded list on your Android phone, tap Take wearable screenshot to capture the screenshot of the opened screen of your watch.

■On the next window, tap the desired option through which you wish to transfer your screenshots. (Bluetooth in this case.)
■On the Bluetooth device chooser window, under the AVAILABLE DEVICES section, tap to select the device on which you want to transfer the screenshot and follow the on-screen instructions to receive the images.

Note: When you receive the screenshot on the selected device, make sure that you rename the received screenshot file before transferring the second screenshot image to your device. This is because every screenshot that you capture using the above method uses the same name, i.e. Screen. If you fail to rename the file, the current screenshot would be replaced by the new one and you will lose the earlier image for good.
■Assuming that you selected the computer to receive the screenshot via Bluetooth, you can view the screenshot in the Received Files folder on the computer.

Note: Location of the received file may vary depending on the Bluetooth settings on your computer or smartphone.
