I had my 50 inch 4k setup vertically for portrait mode. The bottom was resting on a pillow. My cat just knocked a whole glass of water onto the tv, and it collected at the bottom where the tv was resting on the pillow. Some water clearly penetrated as the the screen now has these brighter blotches especially at the end where the water collected. It's working perfectly besides that, but I understand internal components may start to corrode as well.
I unplugged it.... Is there anything I can do? Is it worth trying to repair? I'm capable of opening it up and doing some soldering if need be. Or is it not worth the time and effort?
