I would love if this is to be implemented in curved display monitors. Instead of having eyefinity with 3 monitors or 3d surround, we can just have 1 long display.

[citation][nom]chodaboy[/nom]Shouldn't that be "radius of no less than 25mm"[/citation]
nope. they are showcasing how the device is flexible enough to be curved around something with a radius or under 25mm and still be viewable.

I would like this in a virtual reality type helmet/goggles, a curved screen completely surrounding your field of view and movement sensors in said helmet that changes the look diection as you move your head, put that together with 3d and you've got perfect virtual reality.

A strong possibility for the years to come.

What insight! New technology is likely going to come at some time in the future. Who figured?

If this was thin and transparent enough, developers could start layering the screens to produce a 3D display without glasses.

The fact that these could lead to curved monitors for "surround viewing" on a single screen is pretty sweet. I shudder to think of the price tag though...
