Not only is your logic flawed but it is also ignorant. You are very quick to shoot down a theory to only suggest what you think is a superior one. Scientists are at odds about how the universe started, but they have more proof then you do of a God. Do I believe in a superior being? I am not sure, whether it be God/Buddha/Zeus/etc, I believe there could be but am unsure. But again, you say that the scientists are wrong because of where did the matter that exploded come from, well where did this superior being come from? This is exactly why this is such a big deal, no one knows and I dont think anyone will ever know.

If you are dumb enough to post everything you feel in a public forum, then you are dumb enough to deserve whatever you'r dumb ass thinks it should do when upset with the outcome of such posting(s).
I laugh at people that kill themselves due to public opinion. They are simply helping to clear out the weakest of our race. I have absolutely no sympathy for them, their families and friends, yes, but not them.
There is still a place for natural selection, and it's name is Facebook and Twitter!

A large percentage of people will get depressed at least once in their lifetime, its not about being unworthy. If someone posts on a forum they are already thinking about killing themselves, its just that how people respond is what can affect their perception on whether its worth living or not.

Well life events trigger the depression in which causes the chemical imbalance. Drugs can help with the imbalances, but u need to find out whats causing the depression and find a way to deal with it.
Yeah take it seriously after all it is a communication medium. You would help or do something, wouldn't you, if a person tells you face to face that they are depressed or angry. Verbal communication is taken seriously, and why not take the e-comm that way.
What the hell. A man for saying he was going to blow up an airport sky-high and gets penalized for it... clearly that's a violation of his rights. This makes me so angry that that I'm going to pull off a Lee Harvey Oswald.

Having read through the comments posted about this article, I find it odd that one of the two status updates posted as signs of depression was a quote from a movie and this fact was not brought up. In the movie "Van Wilder" the character quoted a fictional Pulitzer prize winning writer having said "Don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive anyway." This was not meant as a suicidal thought, it was about taking life so seriously that we never live our life because we are too busy trying to achieve a goal. There may be other things said by this young man that hinted of suicide, but this one quote serves to project the complete opposite. Inference can be made that no matter how he was doing in school, he would not let that keep him from living life.
Its a fact that in this world people have mental ilness and attacking them and insulting them for it is the same as doing so at person in your presence who has a serious heart condition as am example. You can be held responisble for that person taking a heart attack in front of you because you indirectly caused it but did so knowing the persons condition.
People will always argue they can do what they want and have no responsibility over anyone else to one degree or another. If that was acceptable we wouldnt need any law and order. Law and order is there supposedly because people abuse one and other in many ways (though reality is our so called laws end up being abused just to keep order whether abuse happens or not otherwise places like Guantanamo Bay wouldn't have existed).
