Tethering Android s4

This question has been asked soooo many times so I just thought I needed a refresher course . Can not figure out, still, how to tether my Android s4 so I can have Internet on my laptop

First I was just needing to transfer pics to my phone using the blue tooth method and my SD card. Nothing is working Over it! Please help.

You only tether the phone to your laptop to give the phone a share of the laptop's Internet conenction. To share the phone's connection with the laptop you need to create a Hotspot on the phone.

That you do in settings but be careful - you could run up a large mobile data bill.
