I can text to my friend with no problem. But he is not able to text me back. Is it my phone or his.

Thing is he can text to others okay. But not to me.

Yes he has credit and called me back to tell me he was getting my texts.
But I did not receive his texts to me.

can you received any text at all? could be your service provider issue.
