I'm excited...was thinking of getting the EEEpc but now im gonna have to check out how the everex cloudbook holds up against it :)

But how much is the $ ?

ASUS R2H has the same specs and its nearly $900-$1000

...hella alot cheaper than the asus r2h...Its slighty faster than the celeron the eee pc has and it also comes with ddr2...i just hope the ram is upgradable...if it is, its going to be a steal :) ...i also dont mind the 30 gb hdd instead of the solid state hd the eee pc has...

thanx logan for the price
Yeah for $400 it looks very nice, ASUS Eee PC is very good too and ith as very good reviews around the web

Yup, it's another good option for those that need cheap technology. I don't know much about VIA CPU's though.

edit: I find it interesting that they are using walmart as a vendor.

Wasn't Dell also going to use Walmart as a vendor? Well, it fits with the whole "cheaper price segment" bit.

Just found out yesterday that you can upgrade the ram on the eee pc, but you cant on the cloudbook...:'(
I was really looking forward to getting the cloudbook...idk if I'll get it if I cant upgrade the ram...

Hmm. That's definitely disappointing. That's a dealbreaker for me, so it looks like I'll be sticking with the EEE. 🙁

thats bad about the RAM on the cloudbook

Btw, EEePC is getting more and more good support every day

sucks...i was really looking forward to trying out VIA's Ultra Low Voltage processor...ugh...

Probably working out good for dell. People who go to walmart to get a computer, probably don't know much about PCs in general. If they did, they probably wouldn't buy dell.
