the brightnesskeys and the volume keys aren't working on my key board

The keys that control my brightness and my volume are not working. I have tried turning it off and back on again but they still aren't working.. I don't know if I hit a button and turned them off if that is possible like the touch pad.

I'm assuming this is a laptop and moved this topic there.
If this is not correct, let me or any moderator know and we will move it back.
