Sounds like a very interesting idea, i would buy one since i would be able to mount it inside my pc case while doing maintenance etc..

This is really old technology though, I use to own a touch lamp, which was also a three level lamp, touch it once it turned on low, touch it again light was medium and touch it again light was on high... These lamps can get annoying, people pass close by and accidentally touch it and the light goes off, kids playing with it, or just playing with a toy close by and accidentally touching the lamp. However they are pretty quick with response, which is why they can be an issue with accidental touch LOL, I guess it's as bad the clap, have a group of people over, make a joke, someone claps as a reaction and off went the light LOL

ugly if done with LED's. done best with OLED screens.
a lot of concepts can be done with OLED technology.

In response to Mike00, this seems to be slightly more advanced, the touch lamps arnt capable of detecting motion, they just react to temp, or resistance created normally, and to have a adjusting light, rather than 3 stages is nice

When I turn on the light, I want to turn on the light. Light the area. Who cares what part of the light lights up?
