I have an Asus laptop and the screen not going on but it works with an external monitor, what do I do or what is my next step please. Thanks

look in display settings to see what it is set to. it sounds like it is setup to only display on the external monitor. there should also be a function key at the top of your laptop keyboard that will let you cycle through all the monitor options suck as if you want to extend the displays or duplicate them
