[citation][nom]acadia11[/nom]Oh please this admin has done a ton of things right, objectively, speaking this president is actually very good.1) Saved American Auto Industry, GM went from bankrupt to the #1 car manufacturer in the world again a place it hasn't held since the 1990's.2) Got Osama, Ghaddafi, and Al Wahari at a fraction of the cost3) Dow went from 5000 on January 21, 2009 when Obama took office to more than 13,000 today4) passed a healthcare bill that if people actually bothered to read would be quite good for the average citizen5) Ended the recession 6 months after taking office, the US economy has grown every quarter since June 20096) Added over 5 million jobs over the last 3 years, US economy has added jobs 26 of the last 30 months7) Corporations can complain but they've all seen record profits, Intel, Apple, GM, Ford, GE, Exxon, Goldman ... and so on ...8) Gave the largest tax cut in US history, and for a change it was one finally geared for small businesses and the middle class9) Cut interest rates on student loans, added more funding for student loans, removed the banks from being middle men in the student loan process especially when the money was coming from the government not the banks to begin with10) .... I could keep going, but the reality, of who Obama is does not at all jive with this mythical person most conservatives and some people see who is out to destroy America.Greatest qoute of the day from Obama Iowa speech , in reference, to him admonishing the house of representatives even considering not extending the interest cut on student loans ... one republican respresentative said that the Obama policy on this is "like stage 3 socialist cancer ... and that he was using the issue to distract the American people from the economy" .... Obama in his speech, today at University of Iowa, stated really "stage 3 socialist cancer", what does that even mean, what is he even talking about ... and that these guys are so out of touch that giving access to education for America's future work force is exactly about the economy. He doesn't know economy the Republicans are talking about, but you students are and will be the future economy. What economy are the republicans refering too.[/citation]

The economy is worse than it was before. The Dow and such are artificially inflated. Like many other bubbles before them, they could burst at any time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you get fined for not having heal insurance by that very health care bill?

The recession is not over... It's getting worse. Have you noticed how unemployment is STILL climbing? Also, don't forget that the unemployment rates don't include all of the unemployed, often only the recently unemployed or at least those who are on employment plans.

Many companies have gone out of business. Most of the companies seeing profits are international companies and that is why they survived. Many other companies (such as GM) are also only alive because the government put them on life support and keeps bailing them out.

Really, Obama is just another president. Sure, there are some perks like with any other president (for Obama, his apparently adamant stance against bills such as CISPA, SOPA, and the others is one good and recent example), but the negatives have and seem to always outweigh the positives. It's as if the positives are only there so that we can forget about the negatives, or just not even notice them. He's a politician, enough said.

Even going back to Bush, both Bush presidents did good things too. For example, they improved our foreign relations, something that Obama certainly hasn't helped nearly as much and in many cases, has actually hindered.

This is an election year, Obama will do/say anything to get votes. I'm sure he is brewing up something else to stab america in the back after he is re-elected.

[citation][nom]wolley74[/nom]Some faith in humanity has been restored, finally someone sees how stupid these bills are[/citation]

It's funny how everyone is saying he did good with this. It is all smoke and mirrors.

The SOB signed ACTA without even seeking congressional approval.

Obama has a done a lot of great things. He's not perfect, but he's a thousand times better then Bush was.

This is just another great thing Obama has done. Good for him. I wish him luck over his next 4 years.

The Obama haters on this thread are commical. People like Blazeothon and integr8t are morons with zero facts.

@economy comments. Wrong. Flat wrong. Stop licking fox new's rear and get your facts straight.

@"fine for not having healthcare comment" 1. Can you get fined for driving without car insurance? Derp.

2. He wanted universal healthcare (medicare for everyone basically). You GOP clowns freaked out and cried (even though every other industrialized country has a type of universal system, their costs per person on both care and prescriptions are lower, and make our HC ranking look like a joke *US is ranked #37 in the world*.)

So after you GOP nuts worked to destroy the bill, he compromised by saying "Ok you want private healthcare, then everyone will have to have it".

First you scream about universal health care, then you losers get mad that you have to buy into private healthcare. Make up your f'n minds.

[citation][nom]acadia11[/nom]4) passed a healthcare bill that if people actually bothered to read would be quite good for the average citizen[/citation]

You've got to be kidding!?!!?!

Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.

Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual’s bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.

Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now – ACORN).

Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax.

Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors’ fees.

Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospitals will ration care according to the patient’s age.

Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.

Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an "end-of-life planning" seminar every five years. (Death counseling…)

Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.

... I'm a moron for simply stating that no president is perfect and giving examples as to why? I didn't even hate on Obama. I wasn't going to call anyone a moron, but since you opened that door, your a moron. See that there? It didn't solve anything.

No, Obama isn't really any better than Bush. Hell, he can't even prove that he's a real citizen of the USA. His own birth certificate is a forgery, or he's a lier and here's why. Obama said that he changed his name to what it is now in order to get along with his father better. However, his birth certificate has his current name on it... How is this possible? Considering that even if you change your name it doesn't change your birth name on the certificate (you need to carry a waiver around with your birth certificate because you can't legally change the name on the birth certificate), it must be a forgery because it does not bare the name that Obama claims to have been born with. Look it up if you must.

I'm not mocking him or demonizing him for anything despite what you said and even worse, despite his birth certificate being wrong according to his own words. However, he is no better than those who have preceded him. He is simply more charismatic.

Now here you go, assuming that you know something about me of which you don't. I'll say this here... I didn't complain or cry about GOP. Driving without car insurance and crashing can screw both yourself and other people over. Me living without health insurance does not screw other people over. Also, unlike this health insurance problem, I can live without being fined if I don't drive and don't have car insurance. I have no such option when it comes to health insurance anymore. It's not the same and you pretending that it is is a fail in logic.

I didn't scream about health care until it was being forced down my throat. It's people like you who think that they know things that they have no clue about that exacerbate this problem, among other causes.

I also think that it's worth saying that Fox almost always completely disagrees with what I'm saying, so I'm obviously not getting anything from them. I suppose that the fact that I no longer watch Fox also helps me to avoid their lies. Of course, it doesn't seem to have helped me to avoid your lies... Oh well.
