The Xbox 360 Will Win the Console Wars

I'm a PC gamer and love Microsoft, but wow this article is fanboytastic.

Not to brag, but i've 2 ps3(both with 500gig HDDs), a Wii, the limited mordern warfare 2 Xbox 360, and two I7 920 gaming rigs(one Evga X58 SLI LE with 2 9800GTX+ based rig and An Asus PX58D deluxe with 2 Radeon 5850s)... At the end of the day, whatever console i find myself sitting behind boils down to an issue of choice and desire really... It's the mood i'm in and what games work better on what console or rig... The rest is just numbers that these manufacturers need to worry about and not me the consumer... Bottomline, i care not who wins, i just get what works for both myself and my pocket... The rest is just plain unnecessary!!!

This writer forgets that the wii is still selling, because it has the largest market appeal. Grandparents, moms, dads and even sisters are playing it and wants it. Most gamers are buying games for the PS3 and 360, that why I see both consoles doing well too. He forget to also mention the PS3 arc is good and blu-ray is picking up.

haha you know whats interesting, all the negative press sony gets, actually helps them more than any ignoramus is prepared to admit.

Sony gets scolded for catering only for hardcore, bam sony implements casual games, which they had last gen to, sony gets scolded for no games, yet 3 years into its life it released more fresh new titles than nintendo/360 combined, to be the most expensive console, it still only trails behind less 6mil. 360 1 year lead, cheap, stellar game library, which 40% are halo spin offs, yet it still only leads by 5-6 million over the more expensive ps3. Mmm makes me wonder whom is the hare, and whom is the tortoise.

Sony will be the leader why, they are way more innovative than the rest, sure copy nintendo, as if microsoft with the dashboard didn't, shees it looks like the wii's mii's, not even better graphics, oh and just incase you forgot, sony launched with a motion controller, yes the games did not use it well, developer's fault, not sony......need i go on!

Ok so you say that the 360 is better than the PS3 thats cool but you for got one thing why the PS3 is better and in the long run will make it in sales to start there are two PS3 there is that fat 80gb, 60gb,40gb,120gb and the 250gb PS3 slim. see the 60-80gb can play CD,DVD,BLUERAY,PS1,PS2 and PS3 movies and games and the 250gb can do the same ex it plays PS3 games it all so has a built in wifi for the net plus the cool thing about the PS3's 60gb and the 80gb you can change the hard drive to a bigger hard drive like i have a 500gb 2.5 inch 5400 rpm sata hard drive in my PS3 and in next year there will be a 1tb 2.5 sata hard drive in the year of 2011. this is why the PS3 is going to be on the top. Where with the 360 it plays CD,DVD, and DVD ram games and movies the you have to bye your wifi and HD movies drive and it over heats to a point where you get a red eye and your console thats why a lot of x-360 owners stop playing on the 360 and went to the PS3 i was one of them i had 6 xbox 360 in 18 months all red eyes then a friend told me to get a PS3 and now i still own it going on 3 years in June and no problems. But your talking about the future and this is what is going to happen but you do not know what the future will bring may be a new console will come out and blow the doors off the PS3 and the 360 or the world will end in 2012 and every one will die in a painful death and robots take over the earth. Know one now's what will happen but what i do know that there are two really good consoles out there and its the wii and PS3 ....... ha,ha,ha,ha, just kidding its the 360 and the PS3 they both make good games for every one and they make good games every year games i hope to play in the future so don't jug the PS3 over the 360 they are both good console and for me if MS fix's the 360 red eye problem they will have an old friend back. Project natal is great as long as it gives reasonable price. Also, blu-ray disc is overpriced that is why it isn't so successful. I mean just boycott the over price stuff. manufacturer will learn.

But you did brag! What's the point of saying "Not to brag" if you're gonna do it? It's great you have all those things, but in the end of the day, the only person who is gonna care is you.

If 360 had reliable hardware, I wouldn't have purchased a PS3. I play RPG's and such on my PS3 so I don't kill my 3rd 360. With multiplayer games its 360 no contest.

Sad such a superior system is crippled by a soldering problem.

Comparing Natal to the eyetoy is like comparing a go cart to a real car. The only similarities is they both have wheels. The eyetoy just uses a regular net cam and software to track movement, thats why it didn't work well. Natal on the other hand uses infrared projector plus CMOS sensor and voice recognition on top of that.

Now with Move uses Bluetooh 2.0 so it'll have limited range. Basically Sony has their own Wiimote and nunchuck, but they call it Playstation Move controller and sub-controller. Where the Wiimote had the infrared in the bar you put on your TV Move has the infrared built into the controller and the camera follows the ball on the top which emits the infrared signal. Also like the Wiimote both have accelerometers. So basically Sony just did the opposite that Nintendo did with the infrared. So now who copied who?

The xbox 360 is a five years old tech that is 4 DX generation below today standards.

PS3 had this so called new tech NATAL on PS2. The idea was the same. USE YOUR BODY IN FRONT OF A CAM TO BE THE CONTROLLER, which FAILED due to game restrictions, IE no forward of backwards control, like you see in FPS'ers, loads of LAG, CANNOT SEE DARK COLOURS, ect.

This is why SONY made the PS3 MOVE controller, which is needed for HARDCORE gaming. Socom 4 used as an example.

Wii has accomplished more than what 360 and PS3 have done. Just look at the sales of the console. SONY have seen this and took note on how the casual market makes a console grow.

360 has given itself a name. The name is ( unreliable ) and continues to be the same nowadays.

Look at how many 360's have sold "38 million MS tells us". But thats NOT SOLD FIGURES thats just SHIPPED FIGURES.

Remember more than 2 million of those 360 consoles have been BANNED due to piracy or just breaking the code of conduct of XBL.

Also remember that people BEFORE MS extended the warranty of their consoles due to the RROD, bought more than 2 console in that year because of the console breaking on them. Approx 6 million consoles failed with RROD in the 1st 18 months of release. So straight away you can take off 8 millions consoles off that 38 million figure which puts that less than PS3's sales.

Don't forget that people that have bought 3 or more 360 consoles due to being banned or out of warranty when it breaks, or the DISC DRIVE failed which isn't covered under the 3 year warranty like the RROD and now the NEW E74 ERROR thats effecting the newer 360 consoles. Some people have had over SEVEN 360 consoles due to untold failures.

PS3 is the better console all round,More powerful as Exclusive games clearly show for them selves, it is cheaper to play online as it's FREE unlike 360, PS3 has better made tech than 360, 10% failure rates, while 50% failure rate at one time was marked on the 360. The person that WROTE THIS ARTICLE has not got a clue about these consoles. Did the person know that it was SONY and the PS3 that brought in late 2007,the DLC releasing select PlayStation 3 titles as direct downloads. It was the first current-generation console to do so.

Truth be told PS3 will ( JUST LIKE THE PS2 ) keep selling consoles for it's full life of 10 years. the 360 will not do so./ So now WHO has shown what console sells after it's life has come to an end.

I will tell you IT'S SONY AND THE PS2, so as sony has shown all of us, PS3 will do the same.
