Look in the archives, there have been posts on this subject in the past.
But (assuming you want english language) American or British spelling seems
relevant here, although you don't mention any preference. There are a few
differences. If not english you don't give a language.

Why the hell do you even bother answering, your responses are always so

Although it's not free, I do like Lextionary
(http://revolution.cx/Pocket-PC-Dictionary.htm) a lot.
