I was having trouble understanding what need these were designed to fill. That is, until I saw that picture of the torch at the beach.

Obviously it's designed to attract hot girls in bikinis.

looks like they use MS paint to add the cone in the sand

couple potential problems i see...
1. water proofing seal to protect your MP3 player, from sudden rain showers through the speak on top, or from wet sand, screwing it shut might not cut it
2. kid at home using it with real ice cream
3. "is that a cone in your pocket, or you just happy to see me" jokes
