Thinking of maybe getting a better DSLR

Hi

I currently have a Canon 450D with a Canon 50mm lens and Sigma 105mm Macro Lens.

I was just wondering if there was a better Canon DSLR i could get in the future that would enable me to take more cleaner pictures but also be able to do night photos as i currently have to use 1600iso and the quality isn't nice due to the noise. Would i need higher megapixels or pixel size or camera with a larger sensor?

I have to say i love my Sigma macro, its the older model. Very good built quality and quite heavy due to the amount of glass in it. I can get so close it insane.
