I am getting an eGPU for my Asus ROG G752VL and the specifications on the a couple sites say "Thunderbolt 3 USB Type C 40Gbps" and then some say "Thunderbolt 3 USB Type C 20Gbps."
I thought Thunderbolt 3 is supposed to have 40Gbps!? Can someone please read up on this topic and give me an answer or not if this is true, because I am going to pick up the eGPU tomorrow and I want to know if it is worth buying or not.
Because 20Gbps is probably way to slow to run and sort of higher end graphics cards.
Thanks.
