Has anyone tried using this brand before? And if so, any feedback? I am between getting this, or the 8gb kit from crucial, so i am kind of stuck on what to do.

Solution
Because you don't list the model, so we don't know. But keep in mind you will need the MAC memory for your Macbook, you can't buy the PC memory for the apple computer.

Also you can use the Crucial Advisor tool to find your memory too. http://www.crucial.com/

You mean the model for the device? It's a Macbook Pro 7.1. Intel Core 2 duo 2.4 ghz...
The ram is made for Mac, and says that it's compatible with my model... but i am not sure about the brand.. some mixed reviews on Amazon... i mean.. 4.5 stars, yes.. but the people that put low rating list some really worrying defects..

Oh no, i know the brand.. it's Timetec.... that's what it's called.. this is their website:
https://www.timetecinc.com/

I just wanted to know if anyone heard of it.. or if there is any feedback about it.. all i found so far was people saying if they're using Hynix chips then it should be fine.. how accurate is that?

It's cool Cin19, i'll check and see what other opinions and available options might be, and try to make up my mind... Also see if anyone chimes in with any other advice..
