I'm looking for a very simple and straight forward software.
I need something that works on the homegroup where any user can simple write a task or plan it on a calendar, then others within the network will receive a notification when the task needs to be started. Anything like it out there? The notification is a major part so people will notice it rather than forget if its in an excel spreadsheet.
How do I setup a shared calendar? I have the app, tried googling how to share the calendar but none of them give a good example. when i have my calendar open, and go to the bottom right toolbar, and click on share, it says "you must select content in an event in order to share."
Everyone in the group should have separate Microsoft account (since all of you have Windows 8, as stated). Create additional calendar to be shared (assigned to another account, e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org), then from Accounts page add this shared calendar to others' calendars.
