To update [upgrade] a processor in laptop

I have Intel® 4th Generation Core™ i3-4005U processor in dell vostro 14 3000 series laptop. Can i update it to 7th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processor ?

Cpu is soldered to the motherboard(bga) and not upgradable. But even if it wasn"t bga you wouldn't be able to go from a 4th gen cpu to a 7th gen cpu as they use different sockets and chipsets.

For the freedom to upgrade CPU or GPU it's no good buying a laptop.

You need a desktop PC, preferably not a factory-built one either.
