Too much for too little?

I've wondered if Logitech Z 5500 would be too much for a computer? My homebuildt rig is completed several months ago, but I do not have any quality speakers.

I own the Z's, I like em.
They do alot for many hookups, use DTS or DDL. Not like a home setup, but for PCs they kick.
If you like bass, youll love em

They aren't bad - they're a bit bass-heavy for my taste, and they can't get truly clear highs, but for the money, you'd be hard pressed to beat them. I'd say they're a decent choice.
