toshiba 40L1353DB LCD no picture no sound.. standby light goes from red to green, any ideas as to which board is playing up, this happened a while ago and I turned it off waited and turned it on and it was fine for about 1 week

any ideas cheers

You can try to reset it. Turn the TV off and unplug it, hold the power button down for 60 seconds then plug it back in continue holding the power button down for 60 more seconds then attempt to turn it on. If this doesn't help then you either have a faulty power or Logic board, there is no way to really tell you which is bad as they both can give you the same issues when they go south. The majority of the time it's the power board "80%" but that isn't always the case. You will need to open the TV up anyway to record the boards model number so take the time to physically examine it for any possible bad Capacitors.
