I have a second hand Toshiba 50L7300A which, when plugged in, turns on and displays the Red Toshiba logo, but then displays a bright blue screen.
I understand this may be a problem with the main board (32L4300 rev 1.02a) but I'm not sure, and they're very difficult to find now anyway.
I tried updating the firmware - the USB flashes a few times when plugged in, then nothing happens and the blue screen is still all I get.
I also have no remote for this TV.

If you've heard of anything similar please let me know what I can try.

Thanks

Do I bump? Is this allowed or effective?
Took out the main board with the naive boldness of a British WW1 recruit, thinking I'd take one look, see the advancing German faulty capacitor and simply shoot him in the head replace it with my rifle soldering iron.
Then the board was way more complicated with tiny surface mounted bits I forgot about. I realised I have never done thit before and retreated.
But I did plug it in again and film what happens so one of you veterans can point me in the right direction. Video should be attached below.
Is it main board? Or the bits that are right behind the screen? Or something?
