Did you ever find a solution or an answer to your question? I did find a comment here (https/www.tenforums.com/network-sharing/75197-wireless-indicator-light.html) from early 2017 that says "That's protocol for all Toshiba laptops." I am searching here in March 2018. My newly acquired Toshiba Satellite L675D-S7107 wireless communication indicator light on the front glows a steady red (amber?) color. I have tried searching forums and in the Toshiba User's Guide to no avail. Seems like no one that knows wants to answer this question on the amber or red light staying on.
