Toshiba L500D not working in desktop screen only log in screen.

Hello, i have a Toshiba L500D Notebook and the keypad stops working on the desktop screen but works in the log in screen does anyone know if i have pressed a button or changed a setting to cause this because the driver is up to date. I have the Standard PS/2 Keyboard any answers would help thanks.

Try getting a USB keyboard and see if it works
