Toshiba Laptop paasword sign in

The num lock on my Toshiba Satellite and keyboard is on but it will not allow me to enter a password .Can anyone help?

Try a hard shutdown - - keep power button pressed until it turns off.

Now press power button in normal way to boot it up again.

If you see an option to "Start Windows normally", choose it (arrow keys to select it - - then <Enter>)

Hopefully you'll now be able to enter your Windows password.
