Toshiba - No sound / broken volume dial

Hi Guys,

My volume dial has fell inside my laptop at the front and now the volume isn't working on my laptop, I tried using the volume control next to the clock on the task bar but it won't work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The software control SHOULD STILL work are you getting ANY sound ?

Thanks Brett, there is no sound coming from the laptop since the dial fell inside. I have tried using the volume control on the desktop, tried device manager uninstalling and re-installing but nothing is working at all. It says the device is working fine but nothing

Hi

To be honest it would cost a LOT of labour to repair, so just get a USB sound dongle to plug in...very very cheap under £10...
