Hello,
I wish to ask anyone who knows what is wrong with my acer asphire that continuously having short beeps when exiting the POST or when I enter the CMOS setup.

Might be a problem with the memory, or the cpu.

Thanks for the answer. I've already solved the issue.... There is a physical defect on the inside of the USB port. It causes the short or conflict every time the POST and CMOS identifies the USB device. I hope this experience of mine can help somebody else who encounters the same problem with their Laptops. Thank you again....
