Toshiba Satellite C6550-S5200 Processor Replacement

I have a Toshiba Satellite C6550-S5200 in excellent condition but it is very slow.
Can the processor be updated on this computer, either AMD or Intel?

The processor on your laptop is soldered on. You can't replace it unless you can find an exact matching motherboard(which doesn't have conflicting port placements and a socket that accepts drop in CPU's).
