Toshiba Satellite L505D no sound or usb device manager

I formated the hard drive on my toshiba and now I don't see sound or usb on my device manager

Hi....Im having the same problem and have come to the conclusion it is a loose connection on the southbridge chip....which means the motherboard will have to be remover and the southbridge reballed....hope this helps!!!
