Internet slowness is almost never due to a slow ethernet connection, you are asking the wrong question.

List your ISP service, modem brand/model and router brand/model and how everything is connected and what else is on the network, results of an internet speed test, when the slowdowns happen and what you looked into before deciding you needed a different ethernet card.
