So I woke up this morning, and tried to turn on my laptop, and it would turn on but the screen stayed black as if it were off. Then after about 2 mins, the computer turns off/goes to sleep. I recently installed Windows 10, and haven't had an issue until today.
So I googled the issue, and I tried turning it off, removing the battery and charger then holding the start button for 60 secs and I got no results. Another recommendation was to hook my laptop into a secondary display, which I did and the monitor didn't react and went back to sleep.
Since it's such an old laptop, would it be worth getting repaired or should I just get a new one?
