Solved! Toshiba satellite R930 w16

Hello sorry if Im doing this all wrong im 69 & new to all of this my question is i have a toshiba satellite R930 w16 laptop when i power on batt or mains the power light flashes amber on dor 4 sec then of for 4 secs bif f i just push power on screen comes up with logo then goes blank if i push the tab then power on no logo but fan starts & just sits at this point cannot get into bios tried clearing cmos but no joy there either any idears???

Could be a bad motherboard. Can try to reseat the RAM and try another RAM stick see if that helps.
