Toshiba Satellite S855 USB3.0 Ports Not In Device List

Toshiba Satellite S855 USB 3.0 ports not shown in device list. Win8.0 Are they disabled? Dead? If neither - how do I activate them? Thanks.

Did you check the other sections in "Device Manager"? Sometimes they wind up in the wrong one.

Also you can, in "Device Manager", click on "View" at the top of the window and then click "Show hidden devices" to see if you can locate them.
