If you tried everything, there is nothing left to try. You may want to provide some details about exactly what you tried, the laptop brand and model, what you used to install Windows 7 and what happens when you do.

Depends on how you installed Ubuntu in the first place, there may be a recovery partition on the system you can use,or your Windows restore disks, or simply edit the boot menu if you have dual boot. If you did not plan things for restoring the original setup you will need to find a Windows 7 disks and do a full clean setup yourself.
