Hey i have a msi ge-60 laptop, and today i updated the drivers for the touch-pad, as it was not always registering movements when gaming if i had anything pressed down on the keyboard.
I had read in a review of the laptop that the updated driver fixed this problem.

Now, I am usually pretty good with hardware, but software is something i try not to dabble in if i don't have to. I can still change all the settings of the touchpad (ELAN pointing device) but even if scrolling is turned on, it still does not work.

Another thing to note that seems odd to me, is that in mouse properties, Under the ELAN tab, the smart pad constantly enables and disables rapidly.

I've tried system restore and installing older drivers to no avail :/ I can live without scrolling, but damn is it annoying to not have it when i know that it has worked before.

also all on windows 8, not 8.1, havent updated yet. No rush on a solution, but any one will be GREATLY appreciated <3
