touchpad tap problem

on my touchpad single tap behaves like double tap ...windows 10,acer laptop..it started acting suddenly when i was using laptop

Have you gone into "Control Panel" and checked the settings for the touchpad? I should allow you to check the properties and more to make sure it is set up correctly.

If that doesn't fix it, then I would try rebooting the device (turn it off, not sleep or hibernate, but off) and then back on. This also may resolve the issue.

Should that not do it, then next I would try updating the driver for the touchpad.
