was there a typhoon? A storm drain is not a "well" and killed you on the way down..obviously they had their nerve and were not frightened by the situation..I don't believe any of you were there?

Stupid teens nowadays....first kids loving mac's now this? i have nothing else to say.....
exept this....
and this....
ok im done....
AHAHAHA MADE U READ

I want to know how many of their friends thought it was a prank at first. Honestly though, how many people update their status with "I'm dying to get out of class right now." I would have been one of those friends who posted something like, "Dude, me too. I've been trapped in this storm drain called life too long..."

Sorry to say, but I think their friend who happened to be online just circumvented natural selection because people as stupid as that don't deserve to live in order to breed more stupidity.

I don't the condition in Australia, but is there any possibility that those girls (12 an 10 years old) do not know that they can call 000 through their mobile phones ? Or are they simply do not know the 000 even exist ?

May be 000 has to put more ads than facebook

You are taught what 000 is in kindergarten here, if not before by your parents. Also you can call 000 from a mobile even if there is no sim card.

That brings me to the parents... I would ask what they were doing, but then I remembered that Honeypot Rd is in a real dero part of Adelaide, and as such the dad had probably run off (to the pub) and mum was down the shop getting smokes and didn't even realize 2 of her 7 kids were gone.

apparently.. first thing kids learn these days, how to get on facebook, before learning phone numbers for emergencies

I'm OK with them updating their facebook page instead of calling for help. If they died it would be a bonus, makes the world a slightly better place and removes one tard from the POS that is facebook

Im sorry but this is so f**ked up in so many ways. IF they were in more danger and had less time they would have died cause they THOUGHT of emailing facebook instead of calling the police to run and help them? Are we serious? I feel sorry for kids nowdays with education and parents that allow their kids to act stupid.ACTUALLY the factors of leading to ther kids think and act that way are the stupid ones. Not the poor kids cause they dont know better than thye allow them to learn. Pathetic and messed up.Shame

In the city where I live the response time for the police is about 25 hours (the fire department sometimes shows up in less than 2 hours though). Facebook is much faster - phoning the emergency number will just get you a flat battery.

I think it should get an honourable mention for a darwin award, however you have to render yourself incapable of reproduction (usually by killing yourself) in order to truly qualify.

How about you people quit being so fucking harsh. Remember these are kids. Maybe they simply thought that one of their friends would be able to help them out so the police wouldn't have to get involved. It's a shame that is become such a "bad" thing to make the police do their jobs cause you think you're gonna get in trouble.

One of our clients works out of adelaide (Ellex) and they have concurred that this area is um...less desirable. Still, prents should be teaching their kids to set proper priorities.
