Tried to reset laptop without backup. Now locked out.

Hello guys,

I have a MSI laptop and was trying to format my C:
I went into the F3 menu and when the format was to start it gave me a ´reagentc´ error.
Now when the laptop boots it takes me to the F3 menu automatically and i cannot boot windows from there.
I did not make any backup or a backup disk/usb. I do not care for my data, just need access to windows.

Grab a usb (8gb or more), and use the setup wizard to make a windows installer on the usb. Then get the laptop and set the boot order to usb first. You will need to download this from another person’s Pc.

I have windows 10, do i need a 32GB usb?

On the so called C: drive? The reagentc error means a critical piece of the windows 10 software is missing. Probably because you formatted it?

Nope i have never formatted it. Dunno how the error popped up.
I went into the cmd and formatted the C: last night after ur msg.
Its morning now, so am working on making a bootable usb.

Needed to make the bootable USB as u suggested.
