Probably the manual for any amplifier or receiver will guide you thru the basics.

Frankly, hooking up a stereo isn't rocket science.

As the previous poster notes -- the speakers may be an issue. The rule is to use reasonable substantial wire (heavier than what's called bell wire) which has clear polarity markings. These attach to the speaker sockets on the Kenwood -- which should be clearly marked and they are usually spring clips or binding posts. Observe polarity and don't short circuit the leads.

Inputs sockets will be marked -- CD player (line input or tape input if this model pre-dates CD), turntable (phono).
