So I have thee Skullcandy Grinds which uses a TRRS jack (for the audio drivers and mic running through one line ideal for a phone) and I'm trying to use the mic built-in it on my computer through TeamSpeak. Now the obvious problem there is that a desktop has separate inputs for a mic and audio. So my question is, is there a such thing that will allow me to split the mic line from the audio line to allow me to connect one into the mic input on my desktop as-well the audio input some sort of adapter or something? Hey thanks for any feedback or help!

Solution
Yes there are such splitters

E.g.: StarTech 3.5mm 4 Pin to 2x 3 Pin 3.5mm Headset Splitter Adapter - F/M

Google "TRRS splitters" and you will find a variety of products and sources available. Just pay close attention to the plug sizes, genders, and pinouts.

That splitter will get the audio and mic separated.
