Solved! Turn off parental control

I was given an Olivia flat panel tv 232-S12 from an assistance center and food pantry. Did not come with a remote. I can not do anything with it as it is requesting a parental lock code that I have no knowledge of. Is there a way to reset this feature so we may use it? Will a universal remote work or is there an app universal remote app that can be downloaded that would work for this tv?

The place to ask would be the manufacturer. And it will require a remote, possibly even the manufacturer remote.
That setting is somewhere deep in the settings, and probably requires some manufacturer code to 'unlock'.
