turned off Gateway GT5676 and came back, pressed button and absolutly nothing happened?

I turned off my Gateway GT5676 for awhile and came back to power up, pressed power button, no lights no nothing?

Any possibility the power cord has worked itself loose?

I checked all cords and surge protector. plugged in a lamp and protector is working?
