Tv cuts off

Hello,
my plasma tv cuts on by its self.Also after watching a while the picture will go black but still has sound.not under warenty,Is this worth fixing?whats the estamated cost?

Is what worth fixing? Not all plasma tv's are the same, and really size does matter.
