Tv,satellite,dvd/bluray theater i want to connect all these together both the tv and bluray have the same connections hdmi and optical

when you say blueray theater you mean blueray player with surround speakers? if so hdmi from blueray player to tv. what connections are on satellite?

If your TV and HTiB both support ARC (audio return channel) then you can connect the HTIB with HDMI to the arc HDMI input on the TV. The ARC has to be set up in both the TV and HTiB to work. The sat box connects to the TV with HDMI too.
If you don't have ARC then your do the same but also connect the optical audio out of the TV to the HTiB.
