Every few seconds my screen flickers a bit (not to black, the pixels just get all distorted for a split second)

Things to note:
- I was just streaming to my tv last night and it worked fine.
- Just installed 4-5 gb software update earlier today

2017 MacBook pro running sierra 10.12.6, Intel Iris Plus graphics, plugged into 38 inch Samsung flatscreen tv

saw some other similar questions here, but there was either no solution, or the solution was to update graphics drivers... correct me if I'm wrong, don't Intel onboard graphics not need to be updated?

Solution
well it do need to be upgraded especially if the newer driver that was push out contain fixes, overall improvement for the specific laptop/pc.if u havent done so i suggest trying it out.

Any idea on where to get updates for it then? Its Intel Iris Plus 650 -- on the intel site it only has drivers for windows. I'm a bit new to mac, not sure where to get drivers for anything..

i suggest going to apple support website.there should be a list of macbooks and drivers there.
