Using an HDMI splitter. The audio used to work immediately when connecting (before I switched to Windows 10), but now it stays on my headphones.
NVIDIA control panel displays the DVI connecting, with audio enabled. I thought to update my Turtle Beach Montego DDL drivers for windows 10 compatibility but couldn't find anything through google. Tried disabling Turtle Beach drivers and switching to onboard sound to no avail.
Running coaxial into HDMI splitter and receiver. Bell cable box and Android box both have working audio through the same splitter. Why is this not working on Windows 10???
UPDATE 1:
Went through all sound drivers under Device Manager (including Turtle Beach Montego DDL, RealTek audio, and four Nvidia high definition audio's...) and restarted PC.
FYI: The HDMI cable was connected during restart. Audio on TV worked. Watched a youtube video suggesting to restart with it connected. When disconnecting the cable however, I got a BSOD (sadface screen on Windows 10) with the error "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (nvhda64v.sys)
So now I am updating my nvidia driver. Will update the thread when I restart...

Got her working. NVIDIA drivers were reinstalled. Switches to TV audio as soon as I connect. Just an FYI: The NVIDIA TV device was NOT appearing under Playback devices. It is now!
